I sure like the price difference, but, should I spend the 300-400 more for the 1080p, or is it worth it?

Could any body pls recommend any 1080p HDTV, any brand, which can show decent standard definition cable or Sat programming? I have yet to find a 1080p which is without pixelation and cloudiness for SD channels. tks

Should I buy a MAC or a Dell Studio XPS (Intel i7) PC for full HD 1080p (24mbps) video editing? There appears to be very confusing data on the web. What would you do, a i7 PC or a MAC?

I have a Sony Bravia 42″ 1080p LCD. I have hooked up my Sony S560 Blu-ray player to it. I tried playing Fast & Furious on Blu-ray and noticed that 720p is much clearer than 1080p. Does anybody know why this is? Isn’t 1080p supposed to be better?

I recently purchased a HDTV with 1080p and a blu-ray DVD player (PS3), and wonder what are home theater systems that would provide better outcomes at a reasonable cost (<$500). Do I need to buy a system or a receiver and separate speakers with capacity of 7.1 channel and HDMI 1.3 output?. Any recommendations on particular brand name and model?

I have a samsung le40a656 lcd tv. I’ve connected a ps3 to the tv via hdmi, but the maximum resolution I can get is 1080i (using the PS3 display settings) What am i doing wrong? This TV is definitely 1080p input?

I read online the only way to keep transfer the 1080p resolution on the XBox 360 HD DVD drive was to use a VGA cable(as opposed to the USB). My new plasma doesn’t have a VGA input. Is there a way to go from VGA to HDMI?
