How Do I Know If A Video Card Outputs 1080p?
Ex. I’m on newegg searching for a video card and I look at their list of specifications for that card. How will I know a certain card outputs 1080p?

well it should be listed in the description about the resolution,i have included a link to tiger direct, click on some of the cards info tab and read the descriptions and you will see where it states 1080p or beyond.1080p is the shorthand name for a category of display resolutions. The number “1080″ represents 1,080 lines of vertical resolution (1080 horizontal scan lines),[1] while the letter p stands for progressive scan (meaning the image is not interlaced). 1080p can be referred to as full HD or full high definition.

1080i (interlaced) will be in the specification tab. I think the tabs on newegg are on the side where the comments are.
