What Cables And Cords Do I Need To Buy For A 42″ Phillips 1080p Lcd Tv?
I just purchased a 42″ Phillips 1080p LCD TV and heard there are a lot of expensive cords I need to buy to make it work at its best, but I don’t know how many or which ones. All I’ll be hooking up to it is a DVD player. Any suggestions?

The regular old component cables with colors at the end will work fine. Don’t let anyone sell you expensive ones. Read more at http://www.HDGURU.com..

If all you are attaching to the tv is a dvd player, the type of cable will depend on what type of outputs the dvd player has. Component (red/green/blue) will be the highest you can use with a regular dvd player. They aren’t expensive anywhere, but www. monoprice.com has the best prices on good quality cables, about $5.00 each and that’s all you need. Any cables can be bought from them that you may need, don’t spend a bunch of money on hype brands.
