I am interested in buying either a 37″ or 42″ LCD and was told because of the screen size it wouldn’t matter to much. If I were to go to a bigger screen then 1080p would be best. Is this accurate?

I herd the bigger the screen the better the quality of picture is. Whats the difference between 1080i and 1080p and when does it make a difference for a screen size?

I have a Toshiba 52 inch DLP TV. The model number is 52HM95. It doesnt say 1080i or 1080p on it. I want to get a blueray DVD player but i heard you need 1080p or 1080i. Do I just need to upgrade my TV?

I used to have a 1080i tv but I just bought an LG 1080p LCD tv but my dish network HD box is still set to 1080i and It doesn’t let me change it to 1080p does anyone know how to change it? also is 1080i the same thing is 1080p? will there be a difference in the picture?

I have an Xbox 360 connected to my 32 inch Philips HDTV via an HDMI cable and for some reason there is only an HD 1080i option and not HD 1080p for the display type, how can I make it HD 1080p on my Xbox 360? It won’t let me.

Got my TV a little over a year ago and it does not support 1080p, only 720p and 1080i. Did I make a mistake or is the difference negligable in all cases?

My xbox 360 seems to have the ability to switch to 1080p so that i might be able to watch a 1080p movie but my projector will only support up to a 1080/60i and a 1080/24PsF. Any ideas?

i currently have a 1080i Tv and i was planning on purchasing a HDMI wire for my PS3 to watch blu-rays and play games in HD. knowing 1080p is better, how much better is it really and what wont i see in 1080i that i can see in 1080p?
