I just purchased a 42″ Phillips 1080p LCD TV and heard there are a lot of expensive cords I need to buy to make it work at its best, but I don’t know how many or which ones. All I’ll be hooking up to it is a DVD player. Any suggestions?

I have a 1080p rated Polaroid TV, and I am going to purchase an 8800GT. I know the 8800GT can get to at least that resolution. What cables do I need to get the full 1080p (or 1900×1080) resolution?
